DAVID TORN:
David Torn is a composer, texturalist, guitarist, producer & whatnot of actual international stature, renowned for his unique musical voice which seems to span & un-define a range of idioms & styles. His characterful & compositionally textural work has had material impact & influence upon both film scoringthrough his own scores, in addition to his creative contributions to scores by Carter Burwell, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Cliff Martinez, Mark Isham, and others—and, generally, upon contemporary electric, electro-acoustic & electronic music.

In addition to the medium of film scoring, David’s creative contributions have continued to grace & assist works of other musical artists-of-note as diverse as David Bowie, Tim Berne, Jeff Beck, Mick Karn, David Sylvian, Meshell Ndegeocello, Don Cherry, Bill Bruford, and so many others. In guitar circles, his solo albumsCloud About Mercury, Only Sky, Prezens, Tripping Over God, Scattercell (many on ECM)– are things of legend.

TIM MOTZER:
Philadelphia guitarist/improviser/composer Tim Motzer lives in a technicolor world of music. He is known for his ethereal guitar voice utilizing bowing, electronics, and prepared techniques. After 20 years of world touring, stunning collaborations, and 80+ albums of credits, he continues to traverse manifold territories in music. From 2016-2018 Tim toured the world playing 43 concerts and festivals with Bandit65, an improvising trio he co-leads with guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel and drummer Gintas Janusonis.  He has recorded/performed with numerous musical luminaries: David Sylvian, Burnt Friedman, Jaki Liebezeit (Can), Ursula Rucker, King Britt, Jamaaladeen Tacuma, Markus Reuter, and Pat Mastelotto among others. Motzer also creates live solo scores for modern dance—most recently to sold out houses in Philadelphia; Tokyo, Japan; Seoul, South Korea; Oujda, Morocco; and Toronto, Canada.  He composes for film and video, and is a composer/accompanist for University of the Arts Dance in Philadelphia. As a leader, his projects include Orion Tango, Instant Takemitsu, and Tim Motzer SOLO. He releases his solo work and collaborations on 1k Recordings.

JEREMY CARLSTEDT:
When Jeremy Carlstedt plays the drums, there is a sensitivity and consideration for the music that is not typically experienced.  After spending close to a decade as a percussionist, drummer, composer, and vocalist for the legendary Chico Hamilton, Jeremy learned to play for the music, not the musicians.  As one of the most sought after drummers across vast musical genres, he consistently works with the ‘best of the best’ artists, both in and out of NYC.  Recent highlights include performances at the Vision Festival, WKCR, Brooklyn Bowl, Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center; and festivals & venues in Europe, UK and South Africa.  Formerly relying on acoustic drums as a baseline for creative expression, Jeremy has now assimilated live sampling, electronic drums, as well as synthesis into his sound.
