1k presents at Mascher Space : the Philadelphia debut of MOVEMENT SOUND EXPERIMENT, featuring world-renowned drummer Tobias Ralph (Adrian Belew Power Trio, Crimson ProjeKCt) and acclaimed improvisational guitarist Tim Motzer in collaboration with 6-8 exceptional Philly improvisational movers including: Leanne Grieger, Loren Groenendaal. Nicole Francesca, Katarina Poljak, Katherine Kiefer Stark, and Zach Svoboda.

Movement Sound Experiment invites a four-way dialogue between musicians and dancers, promising spontaneous expression and breathtaking narratives. Join us for this exciting creative experiment as it unfolds in real time.
