Trumpeter BART MILTENBERGER and guitarist TIM MOTZER
: improvisations and soundscapes for trumpet and guitar.

Bart has performed with Dave Douglas, Butch Morris, the
Rotterdam Chamber Orchestra, Rudresh Mahanthappa, Odean
Pope, Dave Liebman, and has played in experimental large
ensembles led by Pauline Oliveros [in 2006] and John
Hollenbeck’s Big Ears Residency in Philly [in 2009].  He is
a member of Bobby Zankel’s Warriors of the Wonderful Sound
Big Band and the Matt Davis Aerial Photograph among his
many other projects.   

The duo of Bart Miltenberger and Tim Motzer have played live
twice before in Philadelphia and display a mesmerizing
chemistry of sound.

Their next live appearance with be at the Avant Ascension
Series at the Tritone in Philadelphia on May 18, 2011.
