setup and soundcheck goes very well. i record all of our soundchecks, and thus far, it seems that there’s always some magic going on while we are slightly distracted by events around us. for this shoot, ahing will use a jib for one of the cameras…it add’s so much. we also each have ‘neck cams’. can’t wait to see the results. the set and projections look fantastic. hard to believe it’s from the 1k studio-the place is transformed.  during our performance my ‘vintage’ drum throne that i am sitting on decided to break, and i am stranded without a seat, and deep in the music…down to my knees ala hendrix. dino was expecting some lighter fluid he told me later, wondering if i always do this sort of thing when i play…eventually, i had to walk off the set to steal a seat from one of our production assistants. A happy night after teardown, we introduced dino to the philadelhia-ethiopean chicken cheese steak at gojjo in west philadelphia. it was a memorable celebration.
