Final mixes are underway for the release of the second Goldbug album featuring Theo Travis, Eric Slick, Barry Meehan, and Tim Motzer. It’s a remarkable album with epic playing from everybody. INSTANT TAKEMITSU
The debut multimedia release from “Instant Takemitsu – Small Magic” is completed. The album features
Dino J.A. Deane on lapsteel dulcimer, and electronics; Tim Motzer on guitars, and electronics; and Dejha Ti created the visuals. We are shopping this to a few unique labels currently. Have a look at a preview of one of the multimedia pieces from the album at the IT site.

1K STUDIO
The 1k studio has been busy with many sessions over the last months with composer/trombonist Phil Yaeger here from Vienna (working on a new album for 1k), Jeremy Carlstedt in from Long Island City on numerous tracks and our new electronic duo sessions. 1K SESSIONS – JIM HAMILTON-TIM MOTZER DUO RELEASE
Work is underway to release, later this year,  the Jim Hamilton-Tim Motzer 1k Sessions performance from 2011.  Dejha Ti is finishing up the video, and mixing of the multitracks is underway. It’s a rare session of poignant beauty that really catches them in an inspired performance. Be sure to catch Jim and Tim live in Philadelphia at Underground Arts on May 30 with live visuals.

BURNT FRIEDMAN & JAKI LEIBEZIET – SECRET RHYTHMS 5

BANDIT 65
Bandit 65 is the trio of Kurt Rosenwinkel, drummer Gintas Janusonis, and Tim Motzer exploring the intersection of electronics, soundscapes, experimentalism, and improvisation. JULIE SLICK – TERROIR
Julie has an amazing new solo album ‘Terrior’ that feautres Tim Motzer on two tracks including the epic 14 minute plus album closer “Even The Tide Recedes”.  This is a must have album that also features Adrian Belew, David Torn, Pat Mastelotto, Marco Minnemann, Eric Slick, and more with amazing playing throughout. FAITH IN WORTHLESS THINGS
Tim Motzer played on several tracks on the recently completed FIWT album by UK Producer Lee Fletcher along with a cavalcade of allstar players. He also was asked to participate in the FIWT remixes, an amazing collection of interpretations of 2 tracks from the FIWT album.
