i’ve been working the past two + half days producing a hiphop inflected new b-side for ursula rucker’s next k7 single – tempest – along with hawkeye phanatic…a very fast moving experience this time…as we only had 2 days to write, record and mix before we have to leave for festivals in barcelona and brussels…great work from hawkeye and ursula (as per usual)…my newly acquired 1906 story + clark upright piano got the call as well…as i had to use it for this song…look for this single as I believe it will be the flip side of ‘this’ produced by jazzanova….leaving later today for spain for the BAM festival…because of the time spent on this recording, no time to rehearse for our upcoming shows…see you in barcelona…time to pack…
