bari, italy  hotel federeciano

snowing today…in berlin airport incredibly stubborn supervisor would not work with us on baggage weight overages…very expensive…and depressing…fly to rome.  leaving the cold grey for sunshine we hope.  todays plan upon arriving is to drive to bari via van and straight to venue (4-5 hour drive)…as it turns out the car is too small. only our luggage and gear will fit plus ursula…gintas and i stay behind to fly to bari instead. wait in rome airport for 4 hours…finally arrive in bari, picked up at airport and speed to venue around 930pm…small dance club in basement…sound is ok…nice people here…dinner at 1130…(pizza, fresh tomatoes, potatoes, – wonderful and badly needed) then quickly back to hotel for check in, luggage to room, shower, shave, change and back to venue…we are exhausted…ursula was in the car for 5 hours in heavy traffic packed like sardines with gear and luggage, so she is fried…i think we had it a little better on the airport scenario…our performance in our sorry state was commendable…after show, i fell asleep in this loud club blasting hiphop jams…for 15 minutes…a power nap…4am…a few drinks back to hotel to sleep until 1230.
