a 9/11 performance with improvisations for our people and our planet. global illage hasn’t played together for about 3 months so it was a complete joy to create with this smaller version tonite with the amazing chris cuzme on fenderbass, saxophones, and mbira and the ever wonderful jim hamilton on percussion batterie augmented by myself on guitars, basslines, and sampler. another night of profound journeys took us around the solar system and then some. elliot levin joined us in set 2 with his poety and saxophone. we love this band – it’s time more people here feel it’ sublime
