luxury hotel…very nice…flight to catania very nice except some turbulence at the end. ahhh. ursula is distraught a bit…upon landing, gintas cymbals are missing…still in rome, we find out. so promoter diego calls catanian drummers for cymbals for the show…sound engineer is fantastic (lou reed, peter gabriel) our sound is very good and very dynamic…we have a great show…audience is wonderful and seated (200)…my takamine guitar is damaged at airport (my fault) falls off trolly…cracked…not too bad…but lost finish showing the wood…shoulder is really hurting now (800mg advils) dinner after…(fish,potatoes,salad,broccoli, maredesous trappist, lemon cake)…folding at the dinner table…wiped out…communisto cubano restaurant on glorius beautiful street with 7 churches…400plus years old – catania is an amazing special place…mt aetna…must come back…
