it’s been a whirlwind.  been in the studio scoring the new
michael mann film ‘miami vice’ staring collin ferril and jamie foxx…with king britt…very time intensive…also, managed to do 4 tour dates with the king britt experience starting in philly for a sold out back to basics reunion at world cafe live…then off to seattle…where my pedal board was promptly lost…so no pedals for that gig…no sleep the night before travel…so we were totally wiped out exhausted.  i felt terrible..headache…etc. show went well – just guitar synth and a few pedals — some sleep.  after show pedal board delivered.  now off to san fran. nice to be here at club 6.  sound was horrible and loud. audience loved it. they went crazy.  (me, chuck treece, doc gibbs, alma horton)…promoters were nice, but seemed not on it…dinner they provided was cold and not very good, so i went a bought a hot meal later just to feel right.  sleep.  7 hour drive to ashland oregon. this ride is beautiful through the mountains.  this gig is for earth day. massive auditorium…
great food here-all organic (salmon, salad, rice, white wine).
this town reminds us of boulder…so clean and beautiful.
great show…5 hour…feel like i really played on this one. me and doc had a ball…people danced all night…7 hour drive back to san fran…7 hour flight back to philly…home again.
